Tracking an e-signature
Saudaflow tracks a signature; it does not perform one. No e-signature provider is connected — nothing here sends a document for Aadhaar e-sign or invites a signer. What you get instead is a six-step record of the signing you already run, so the file, the paperwork status and the list of who signed never disagree six months later.

Six states, one direction.
The panel offers only the moves that are legal from where you are. Send a different one through the API and it refuses with the whole order spelled out: “E-sign cannot move from Sent to Prepared — the order is Not started → Prepared → Sent → Partially signed → Signed / Declined.”

Signed and Declined are the end. Neither goes anywhere afterwards. A signing round that failed is not reopened — you upload a fresh version and start a new round on it, which is what the paper trail should look like anyway.

Mark it Prepared when the document is ready to go out
Prepared means the version you intend people to sign is uploaded and correct. Do this from the document that will actually be signed — the workflow lives on the document row, so the round is attached to the agreement, not to the booking in general.

Send it, wherever you send it
Print and courier it, e-mail it, or run it through whichever e-signature service your legal team uses. Saudaflow does not do this part and does not pretend to. When it has gone, press Mark sent so the record starts from a real moment.
Name what you used, in the Provider box
It is a plain text field — type Manual, or the name of the service you actually used. It changes nothing in the product; it is there so that a year from now the record still says how that agreement was signed. The box shows example names as a hint; none of them is connected to anything.

Record signatures as they come in
Three signatures out of four is Mark partially signed — a real state, not a waiting room, so the panel shows the truth at a glance instead of sitting on “Sent” for three weeks. From here the only ways out are Signed and Declined.

Mark signed, and name who signed
On the status move you type the signers — who signed, and how. Each is stored with the time; where whoever ran the ceremony supplied an IP address or a device, those are kept too. The list grows: a second round adds to it rather than replacing it.
Everyone who needs to know is told without you telling them. The booking owner and the document owner get a notification, the booking’s activity gets a line, and an audit row records the hop with your name on it.

What completing the round moves for you
Marking the e-sign workflow Signed walks the document’s own status forward where that is legally correct, so you are not doing the same job twice:
- A document at Under review becomes Signed.
- A document at Drafted walks Drafted → Under review → Signed, each hop checked and logged separately.
- A document still at Pending does not move — there is no legal path from Pending to Signed — but the signature evidence is kept anyway, so nothing you recorded is lost.
Each of those hops is noted “Auto-moved on e-sign completion”. This is the one place where the completed ceremony, rather than your role, is what grants the publish-level status — which is why the panel needs only the edit permission and still ends with a signed document.
If the round ends without a signature
Press Mark declined. The panel says what to do next in the same words we would: the e-sign round ended without a signature. Collect signatures manually or restart with a fresh version. Declined is terminal, so “restart” means a new version of the document and a new round on it.
Signed is not Registered.
For an Agreement for Sale the important state is the one after signing. Registration is a separate move, it needs the registrar’s number, and it is the moment several other things in the product change.
- Upload the executed copy as the next version before you move anything, so the file matches the status. The signed scan is v3, not a replacement of v2.
- Mark it Registered with the registration number. The move is refused without one — “The registrar’s registration number is required to mark a document Registered” — because the number is the entire point of the state. The registration date defaults to today if you do not set it, and a registrar appointment can be recorded on the row beforehand.
- Registering the Agreement for Sale clears the RERA advance flag that has been sitting on the booking’s payment ledger since you crossed 10%. It writes its own activity line and its own audit row. No other document does this.
- Saudaflow does not compute stamp duty. It records the registration number and the date. There is no stamp-duty calculator, no rate table and no state-wise slab in this product — a wrong figure there is a registration-level financial error, so we do not publish one.
What “e-sign” does not mean here.
An earlier version of this page named licensed e-signature providers and a stamp-duty calculator. Neither exists. Listed plainly, because a buyer who signs a contract expecting one of these has been mis-sold.

No provider integration
No eMudhra, no NSDL, no DocuSign, no Digio, no Leegality — no e-signature service is wired into Saudaflow at all. The provider field is a label you type.

No Aadhaar e-sign
Nothing here initiates an Aadhaar-based signature, for an individual or for an organisation. If you use one, you use it outside Saudaflow and record the outcome here.

No signer invitations, no signing order
Saudaflow does not e-mail or message a signer, does not host a signing page and does not sequence multiple parties. “Partially signed” is a state you set, not a count it maintains.

No stamp-duty calculator
No rates for Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh or anywhere else. The registration number and date are recorded; the duty is computed where it always was.

No certificate verification
Saudaflow does not check a digital signature certificate inside a PDF, and does not tell you whether one is valid. It records what you tell it, with your name against it.

Nothing on the phone
The e-sign panel is a web screen. The Android app has no document wall.
Asked before the first round.
Can I send a document for e-signature from Saudaflow?
No. No e-signature provider is connected, so nothing leaves Saudaflow to be signed. Sign wherever you sign today — on paper, or through a service your legal team already holds an account with.
What you get here is the record of that ceremony: Prepared, Sent, Partially signed, Signed or Declined, each signer named with the time, and the document’s own status moved forward when the round completes. That is worth doing even when the signing itself happens elsewhere, because it is what stops the file and the status from drifting apart.
Why does the Provider box suggest names of services you do not integrate with?
Because it is a hint for what to type, and the field is free text. Nothing in Saudaflow connects to any of them; typing a name does not start anything or send anything. It is the record of how a particular agreement was signed, which is the question somebody asks in a dispute.
The wording is a fair criticism and it is on our list. The behaviour is not ambiguous: no provider is connected.
Someone declined. How do I start again?
Upload the corrected document as a new version, with a note saying what changed, and run a fresh round on it. Declined is terminal on purpose: a signing round that failed stays in the record as a round that failed, rather than being edited into one that succeeded.
Does an e-signature recorded here stand up legally?
What stands up is the signature itself, done however you did it — wet ink, or a certified service. Saudaflow does not create, certify or verify a signature, so it adds nothing to its legal weight and we will not claim it does.
What Saudaflow does add is an ordinary business record: who moved the workflow, when, who they said signed, the version of the document that was current at each step, and an audit row for every hop. Useful in a dispute, and honest about being evidence of your process rather than of the signature.
